Maldives Energy Authority has reduced the electricity tariff and introduced a new fuel discount of 12 Laari per Unit on all Islands except for Male’, Hulhumale’ and Vilimale’.

Male’, Hulhumale’ and Vilimale’ will only be benefiting from the new fuel mentioned in the previous paragraph.

Additionally, the tariff rates for the Business category for all islands except Male’, Hulhumale’, Vilimale’, Fuvahmulah, Addu have also been reduced along with the fuel discount described for the domestic category.

Similar to the domestic category, Male’, Hulhumale’, Vilimale’, Fuvamulah and Addu will only be benefiting from the fuel discount.
