MoU Renewed to Ensure K. Huraa’s Water Quality

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Utility Regulatory Authority and the K. Huraa Council, originally signed in 2024, has been renewed to ensure the continued monitoring of water quality in the island’s desalination system. This renewed agreement reinforces the commitment of both parties to maintain safe and reliable water standards. As part of the arrangement, water samples collected from K. Huraa will be transported to Malé. These samples will be tested at the Authority’s laboratory. The initiative supports ongoing efforts to safeguard public health and improve service quality.
